Copenhagen Breakfast in Amsterdam

We are often asked if we love Amsterdam more than our other favorite - Copenhagen. Thankfully, at the Scandinavian Embassy, we don’t have to choose.

Here, the coffee tastes as exquisite as it does at Noma and the cinnamon rolls are as fragrant and fresh as they are in the far north and yet we find ourselves in the heart of our beloved Amsterdam.

Our Cup of Coffee

For fifteen years, we were the proud owners of Café Schneewittchen in Munich. It goes without saying that we love coffee, and no day can start for us without its delightful aroma.

Naturally, we are always on the lookout for our favorite café and favorite coffee since we decided to close our own shop and embark on new adventures.

The cappuccino at the Scandinavian Embassy is consistently our favorite by far. This is likely due to the care with which it is prepared, with both the coffee and the milk being perfectly selected.

We might be a bit swayed by the enticing scent of freshly baked cinnamon knots wafting through the air and the sun shining on the park in front of the cozy café.

Now, at Europaplein, you can watch the baking process in the Scandinavian Embassy’s kitchen and enjoy your favorite pastry with a coffee in the snug corner there.

However, we are particularly drawn to the Sarphatipark location, and starting our day there always leaves us feeling happy.
