Brilliant Apartments

At Home in Berlin

Brilliant Apartments - the name may sound plain, but the apartments on the charming Oderberger Straße are anything but.

Lovingly designed, familiar and full of character, they exude a sense of home away from home.

Nestled in Prenzlauer Berg, these fourteen unique apartments are spread across the front and rear building, in true Berlin fashion.

Weekly cleaning services and an on-site breakfast café provide just the right amount of convenience, so that we don’t miss the advantages of a hotel.

There are even facilities for doing laundry at home or dropping it off at the dry cleaner around the corner.

Each apartment comes equipped with a fully functional kitchen for cooking our own meals. Though with so many of our favorite Berlin restaurants just a short walk away, staying in might not be all that tempting.

Heavenly Peace

Despite being situated in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg’s lively nightlife district, the apartments, arranged around a tranquil courtyard, offer remarkable quiet.

It’s hard to believe that bustling Berlin Mitte is just next door.

A night without the sound of cars or trams clattering by is a rare luxury in the capital.

Each morning, Café Krone, which opens onto the shared courtyard, greets us with the gentle clatter of dishes.

Downstairs, lavishly topped pancakes and hearty sandwiches await.

Turn-of-the-Century Charm

Next to the café lies the entrance to the residential building.

Straightforward and fuss-free, with a simple code, we were able to let ourself in, even as we arrived late at night.

We’re charmed by the historic details of the passageway and the creaky staircase.

During the 2017 renovation, the apartments were beautifully updated to meet modern standards while preserving the building’s early 20th-century character.

We can easily imagine staying here for more than just a few days in  “one of the most beautiful streets in Berlin” - as the hosts rightly describe Oderberger Straße.
